Swaysland Professional Engineering Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Staff Engineer to join our growing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of structural engineering projects alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Assist with structural design, analysis, and preparation of construction documents
- Perform site visits and structural inspections as needed
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and consultants
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and technical specifications
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs
- Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification preferred
- 0–5 years of structural engineering experience
- Knowledge of structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit preferred
- Familiarity with the Florida Building Code is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
